Support for Members of Cambridge Global Food Security

Members of the IRC can request support in the preparation of major interdisciplinary funding proposals, including the running of preparatory workshops.

Research Workshops and Seminars

We organise regular events enabling researchers and practitioners across disciplines and sectors to meet, gain new perspectives and ideas, find new collaborators and identify partnership opportunities.

Cross-Cambridge Funding Bids

We lead and support major interdisciplinary research funding proposals. By identifying and discussing emerging food security challenges through our workshops and seminars, we help lay the groundwork for quick responses to funding calls.

If you would like to propose an event, or have help with a cross-Cambridge funding bid, please

Global food security is a major research priority for UK and international science.

Cambridge Global Food Security is a virtual centre at the University of Cambridge. We promote an interdisciplinary approach to addressing the challenge of ensuring all people at all times have access to sufficient, safe and nutritious food that meets their dietary needs and preferences for an active and healthy life.
