Biography

I am an archaeobotanist specialising in analysis of charred plant macro fossils and stable isotope analysis of plant materials. My research interest is understanding relationship between environmental changes in marginal environments and human adaptation to these changes. I am also interested in how agricultural management practices changes under different environmental conditions. My research is currently focused on Turkey and India. I also work in Australia and various parts of Europe.

Postdoctoral Research Fellow, McDonald Institute for Archaeological Research, University of Cambridge.
