Biography

Francesca Re Manning is responsible for helping the Global Food Security IRC to forster ideas, stimulate collaborations, and assist in sharing the knowledge generated by the IRC's members as widely as possible with the aim to have impact and forge lasting partnerships. 

Francesca is a qualified solicitor with an LLM from Cambridge University where she read human rights and international law. She worked as a legal counsel at Save the Children International and advised the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research (CGIAR) on how to manage intellectual property to create public goods for the benefit of poor small holder farmers.
