All who are interested in the intersection between food and farming and health are invited to join the ‘Agriculture and health’ discussion to hear relevant stories, engage with expert panelists and meet like-minded people.

Refreshments provided.

The growing food movement and climate change concerns have brought a more critical eye to our agricultural practices. Is agriculture contributing to or detracting from the health of people and the planet?

This series of discussions will feature two presentations of agriculture and health-related case studies and a panel discussion to explore the work of University of Cambridge alumnus Sir Albert Howard, who is famously quoted for saying, “The health of soil, plant, animal and man is one and indivisible.” Speakers and attendees will engage in a discussion about the agricultural practices that are promoting both human and planetary health, and on the other hand those that are in need of improvement.
