Members of the GFSI will be pleased to learn that a Steering Committee has been formed to help co-ordinate activities and plan strategic developments for the future. Howard Griffiths (Plant Sciences) will now help to co-convene the Initiative with Chris Gilligan, and we hope to recruit an administrative co-ordinator shortly. The Steering Committee will meet at the end of July and their actions and deliberations will then be circulated to Members of the Initiative.
