Venue: The Old Library, Pembroke College, Trumpington Street, Cambridge.  Enter the college through the Porters’ Lodge on the corner of Trumpington and Pembroke Streets, the Old Library is immediately inside the College on the left.

 

Time: 5pm

 

The lecture and subsequent discussion will be followed by a reception starting at about 6.30pm in the Inner and Outer Parlours of Pembroke College to which all attendees are invited with no charge, entry by ticket.

 

 

Sir David Charles Baulcombe, FRS is a plant scientist and geneticist. He is currently Royal Society Research Professor and Regius Professor of Botany at the University of Cambridge. School.

 

Professor Tim Lang is professor of food policy in the Centre for Food Policy at the City University London.  He is an honorary freeman of the Worshipful Company of Cooks.
