Cambridge Global Food Security

An Interdisciplinary Research Centre at the University of Cambridge

Cambridge Global Food Security can assist its members to find funding and draft proposals.  On this page you can find links to information about funding opportunities, as well as more information on how we aim to support our members to find funding.

Funding Opportunities

Please find links to UKRI councils and other funding bodies in the column to the right. Links to websites that list funding opportunities can be found below

Internal (University Of Cambridge Applicants Only)

The University's Research Strategy Office lists funding for impact-related activities, available to Cambridge researchers

External Funding Opportunities

Research Professional lists numerous funding opportunities.

Research Workshops and Seminars

We organise regular events enabling researchers and practitioners across disciplines and sectors to meet, gain new perspectives and ideas, find new collaborators and identify partnership opportunities.

Cross-Cambridge Funding Bids

We lead and support major interdisciplinary research funding proposals. By identifying and discussing emerging food security challenges through our workshops and seminars, we help lay the groundwork for quick responses to funding calls.

If you wish to propose an event, or have help with a cross-Cambridge funding bid, please contact: coordinator@globalfood.cam.ac.uk
