Seminar organised by the Tropical Agriculture Association (East Anglia Branch), Centre for Global Equality, CambPlants Hub and Cambridge Global Food Security

This seminar will discuss innovative agricultural technical developments to increase sustainable crop production, through data-driven precision agriculture and genetic plant protection techniques, with emphasis on cropping in East Africa and the ultimate relevance of the techniques to small farmers.

Professor Sir David Baulcombe, Department of Plant Sciences, Cambridge: 'Biotechnology to control disease in African crops.'
