Cambridge Global Food Security

An Interdisciplinary Research Centre at the University of Cambridge

Please find a recording of the event here.

The degradation of our natural environment and changing behaviours have increased the risk of disease “spillover” from animals to humans.

The talk brought together experts from infectious disease, ecology, international development, and public health to address questions about how the themes of global health (humans and animal), ecosystem resilience, biodiversity conservation, and food security can be integrated to understand the complex nteractions between health and natural systems and as a result prevent the risk of future pandemics.
