Cambridge Global Food Security

An Interdisciplinary Research Centre at the University of Cambridge

ICSEF 2018 will report on the latest thinking, technologies and approaches for energy demand reduction and minimisation of resource use, including water and waste, across all stages of food chains from primary production to consumption and waste management.

The aim of the International Conference on Sustainable Energy and Resource Use in Food Chains is to bring together individuals from different disciplines whose common interest is energy demand reduction in food chains. Given the major challenges now facing the food and energy sectors, this conference provides an ideal opportunity to discuss ways of addressing these challenges, network and meet experts in these areas.
