Join us for a full‑day event focused on Plant Engineering for Sustainable Futures, including: Sustainable Foods, Sustainable Medicines and Sustainable Carbon Management.

This talk explores how agricultural development projects have reshaped farming landscapes by treating seeds, land, and farmers as technical problems to be solved. It then situates today’s seed sovereignty movements within this longer history.

This one-day symposium will feature three panel discussions—Sustainable Food Production, Resilient Supply and Distribution, and Health and Diet—alongside interactive sessions tackling the key challenges of creating a sustainable and resilient global food system. The event is open to University of Cambridge students and staff only.
