Cambridge Global Food Security
I am currently leading the food security and global catastrophic risks project at the Centre for the Study of Existential Risk. The research explores dependencies and distortions in the food system and the food-water-energy nexus. My particular interests are to better understand what shocks might threaten global food security, what the consequences of such shocks may be, and how we can work to mitigate these risks; with a focus on the development of innovative technologies and assessing the sustainability performance of novel food systems (and "future foods").
