Cambridge Global Food Security
Helen Anne Curry is a University Senior Lecturer in the history of science and technology, and a fellow and director of studies in the History and Philosophy of Science at Churchill College. Her current research focuses on the history of efforts to understand and use crop diversity as a resource for agricultural development. She is the PI of the project 'From Collection to Cultivation: Historical Perspectives on Crop Diversity and Food Security' which is supported by a Wellcome Trust Investigator Award. The team of researchers associated with this project will work together to create new accounts of where, how, and by whom contemporary crops are made.
