My research is looking at the forms of labour related to the cultivation of palm oil in smallholder farms in Colombia, and the experience of workers and peasants in the face of public and private efforts of risk management, price stabilization, creation of investor trust and environmental certification. My research interests include political economy, critical agrarian studies, environmental and economic history, decolonial studies and political philosophy.
