Melanie is a 2nd Year PhD student in the Department of Engineering’s Future Infrastructure and Built Environment group. She trained in civil engineering at Imperial, and hydrology and hydraulic engineering at ETH Zurich.


Her interest in sustainable food and city planning and design are being linked together in a multidisciplinary PhD project, working with start-up Growing Underground.
