Melanie is a civil engineer with an interest in integrating hydroponic greenhouses in derelict spaces in cities.
She has recently completed her PhD in the Engineering Department, and is continuing her research on the use of digital twins to optimise the vertical farming operational processes. She also works part-time with the start-up Zero Carbon Farms as a data scientist.
