A group from the University of Cambridge attended ‘Cereals 2016’ on June 15th , joining over 25,000 farmers, agronomists and industry professionals to learn about the latest research and developments in crop breeding, pest control, precision agriculture (including drone demonstrations) and much more!
This was a fantastic opportunity to put Cambridge research into perspective, make connections and spark new ideas.
Our group included representatives from Cambridge Global Food Security, CambPlants, the Sainsbury Lab, the Departments of Plant Sciences, Engineering, IfM and Geography, and colleagues from NIAB. With many thanks to our trip organisers Kate Parsley and Michele Anderson from Cambridge’s Bioscience Impact Team.
