Biography

Patricia Manzano-Fischer has a bachelor’s degree in biology from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), and an M.Sc. from the Edward Grey Institute of Field Ornithology, University of Oxford, England. She is finishing her PhD on Sustainability Science at UNAM, researching beliefs and motive to eat beef among university students to design effective behavioural change intervention. Her aim is to contribute to biodiversity conservation through behavioural research and population specific interventions. 

She has worked on grassland bird ecology, environmental education, wildlife and utility lines conflicts, and sustainability.
