First Global Food Security Seminar for post-doctoral and graduate researchers - Multi-disciplinary Perspectives (6 June 2014, CRASSH)

Building on the existing strengths of Global Food Security at Cambridge, the Global Food Security Initiative is holding two half-day seminars this year with the purpose of engaging members of the University on a number of objectives in global food security research: food landscapes, infectious diseases, plant biology, modelling, political economy of hunger and food supply, land resources and regulatory influences, supply chains and food and health.

Chair: Professor Chris Gilligan, Chair of the University of Cambridge Strategic Initiative in Global Food Security and Head of Epidemiology and Modelling Group at the Department of Plant Sciences

The GFS Initiative and CRASSH Post-Doctoral Researcher Forum are hoping to foster a fruitful climate for future cross disciplinary engagement and networking within the post doctoral and graduate community interested in the food security research.  /
