Nutri-Inno is a five-day programme, funded by the UK’s Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC) Seeding Catalyst Fund, to foster innovation and to support entrepreneurship for better nutrition. The focus of this programme is to identify innovation and entrepreneurial opportunities in providing solutions to ensure adequate nutrition for human populations.

Nutri-Inno will be delivered by the Cambridge Global Food Security Interdisciplinary Research Centre in collaboration with EIT Food Winter School. Participants will be introduced to entrepreneurial actions in order to understand better how to derive broader benefit and impact from their work.

This programme is being run in parallel with the second week of an EIT Food Winter School. Participants will spend the first day separate to the Winter School, and will focus directly on innovative thinking around enhancing nutrition. They will then join the participants of the Winter School to form a larger group who will work interactively to learn key skills around: pitching new ideas, intellectual property strategy, market research, and routes to market.

A key element of the programme is to provide a forum for participants to connect to both cutting edge scientific and entrepreneurial practice through participative workshops and interactive talks and discussion.

Places are limited; please send your completed application form to the by **10th November 2017**.
