The third seminar in the series Food Futures in the World, aimed mostly at students but all are welcome.
The second seminar in the series Food Futures in the World, aimed mostly at students but all are welcome. This week Dr Tim Fox of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers will be speaking on food wastage.
A seminar series organised in association with the University of Cambridge Strategic Initiative in Global Food Security aimed for undergraduate students and early career researchers.
From local to vast intercontinental exchanges, flows of plants have always been accompanied by human transactions or translations on cultural, intellectual, political and economic levels.
This seminar will review some of the exciting developments in the fields of plant science, breeding, remote sensing and on farm decision support, as well as open discussion on the opportunities they are creating for growth.
Debate on the potential of GM crops in agriculture in developing countries.
